Base Salary
$50k - $60k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end software solutions and lead system design for scalable, performant, maintainable, high-traffic applications.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects and oversee the technical implementation of new features and services.
- Build and maintain distributed systems using Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Design and optimize MySQL and Oracle databases and implement Redis caching, Eureka Server service registration, and ELK Stack monitoring and analytics.
- Configure Nginx and Apache for load balancing and high availability.
- Own Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, alerting, and site reliability practices.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, security, accessibility, and data privacy compliance.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and advise senior leaders on technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle, Redis, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD, Linux/UNIX, Nginx, Apache, and ELK Stack.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Proven ability to architect and deliver complex backend systems and mentor technical teams.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and align multiple teams.
- Preferred: experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to increase productivity.
