Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs for frontend applications and system integrations.
  • Implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable business logic.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers on deployment architecture, environment configuration, and CI/CD processes.
  • Define API contracts and integration patterns with Frontend Developers.
  • Develop backend solutions supporting AI-driven and data-intensive workflows.
  • Integrate Generative AI capabilities, LLM APIs, and AI services into enterprise applications.
  • Contribute to backend architecture and technical design decisions.
  • Maintain standards for security, observability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in backend development using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with modern Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
  • Proven expertise designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Experience building solutions in AWS and cloud-based environments.
  • Understanding of backend architectures, integration patterns, and API design principles.
  • Practical experience integrating AI-powered services, LLM APIs, or Generative AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, Git, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with data pipelines, data-intensive applications, AI/ML platforms, model-serving solutions, or inference endpoints is beneficial.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of SAP interfaces, OData, IDoc, RFC, or BAPI is beneficial.
  • Experience with Docker, containerized deployment, CI/CD, secure API design, authentication, authorization, monitoring, observability, and application performance management is beneficial.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and AI Engineers on production-grade AI solutions and working in large enterprise environments is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with excellent English.
