Responsibilities
- Build software for delivered Boeing systems using modern programming techniques, tools, and languages.
- Perform software detailed design, development, integration, and testing.
- Contribute to project execution plans and help achieve operational goals.
- Improve software engineering processes and the quality, safety, and reliability of products and services.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations.
- Support team motivation and a positive staff culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, or equivalent.
- English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Experience developing web services such as REST and SOAP.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and OCI.
- Demonstrated design and systems-thinking skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
- Experience developing software for avionics systems or complex electronics products is preferred.
- Experience collaborating on international and multinational projects is preferred.
- Successful completion of the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process is required.
