Base Salary
$209k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement physical infrastructure management systems, availability platforms, and frameworks.
- Build platforms, tools, workflows, and automation for cloud deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure operations.
- Design highly available, high-performing, scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Improve reliability, operational efficiency, ease of use, and adoption of the infrastructure platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development, operations, and engineering teams to integrate and deploy platform capabilities.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to team growth with engineering managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience and 10+ years building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Experience building, securing, scaling, and operating cloud platforms and systems in production.
- Fluency in one or more of Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure configuration implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
