Responsibilities
- Manage and scale AWS environments and Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS.
- Operate databases and cloud services including RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, S3, and related AWS infrastructure.
- Support five major monthly release trains through canary deployments, rollbacks, and deployment safety practices.
- Conduct Chaos Engineering exercises to test system resilience.
- Provision infrastructure with Terraform and Helm and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Define SLIs and SLOs, build dashboards, and manage alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK.
- Participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analyses, and write post-mortems.
- Automate manual operational processes, maintain runbooks, and document critical procedures.
- Meet defined reliability, provisioning, automation, and incident-response metrics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Chef, or Ansible.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong Bash and/or Python scripting skills and Linux administration experience.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, and Prometheus.
- Ability to build and leverage AI agents and bots.
- MongoDB, RabbitMQ, multi-tenant SaaS, and AWS certification experience are nice to have.
