Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-scale ML and GenAI solutions optimized for performance, cost, reliability, security, compliance, and scalability.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and model lifecycle processes using MLOps tools such as MLflow or equivalent.
- Develop RAG workflows, embeddings, vector indexes, prompt-safety controls, observability, and LLM guardrails.
- Expose models through secure microservices and implement RBAC/ABAC, audit logging, and secure integrations.
- Embed AI ethics, regulatory standards, security controls, tokenisation or masking, key management, and policy-as-code into solutions.
- Drive technical standards, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalise AI safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience in software, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, with proven production delivery and technical leadership.
- Strong Python and software engineering skills with working knowledge of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git-based CI/CD, GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure ML or GCP Vertex AI, artefact registries, and secrets management.
- Deep understanding of LLM fundamentals including prompting, embeddings, RAG, and guardrails.
- Familiarity with MLflow or Kubeflow, Airflow or Composer, and feature stores such as Feast.
- Experience or knowledge of vector databases, LangChain or LlamaIndex, observability tools, model evaluation frameworks, and secure engineering practices.
