Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of digital asset solutions combining DLT with trading, clearing, settlement, custody, and CSD infrastructure.
- Design cross-chain topology using permissioned institutional chains and public chains for DeFi distribution.
- Define regulated token standards, on-chain compliance, KYC-whitelisted wallets, transfer restrictions, AML screening, and transaction reporting.
- Architect custody and key-management solutions, including MPC and bring-your-own-custody models.
- Set standards for code, reviews, testing, and secure-by-design delivery.
- Lead threat modelling and security architecture, and remain hands-on during incidents and work on high-risk components.
- Lead team evolution as products transition from build to run.
- Make chain, custody, and audit build/buy/partner decisions with Product and collaborate with product, legal, regulatory, clearing, CSD, and client teams.
- Define and lead AI-augmented software delivery, including tooling evaluation, review gates, provenance checks, and risk controls for AI-assisted code and AI-in-product capabilities.
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in solution architecture, including at least three years in DLT or blockchain projects.
- Deep distributed-systems and DLT architecture experience with fluency in EVM and permissioned chains such as Canton or Besu.
- Hands-on knowledge of regulated-security token standards such as ERC-3643 or T-REX, on-chain compliance, smart-contract security, and cross-chain bridge risks.
- Proven secure-architecture and threat-modelling experience for high-value, 24/7 financial systems.
- Working knowledge of delivery-versus-payment, CSD, CCP, clearing, and capital-markets settlement integrations.
- Player-coach leadership, strong communication, stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to work across engineering, business, legal, and regulatory audiences.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Cloud or blockchain certifications are preferred.
