Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and execution for automation initiatives and establish reusable paved paths for enterprise integrations.
- Design, build, and deploy event-driven integration flows, API gateways, and asynchronous orchestration workflows using AWS and iPaaS platforms.
- Build reusable frameworks, developer SDKs, self-service primitives, integration templates, developer portals, dashboards, and platform components.
- Set technical standards and integration best practices while serving as a domain expert in AWS and iPaaS tooling.
- Improve monitoring, observability, structured audit logging, error recovery, reliability, and automated governance.
- Partner with operations, security, platform, compliance, and business teams to deliver secure, resilient, zero-trust-aligned automations.
- Mentor team members, participate in cross-functional design reviews, and promote platform engineering, code quality, and developer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java and Python focused on platform engineering, backend systems, distributed architectures, and enterprise integrations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript for developer portals, operator dashboards, and self-service interfaces.
- Deep expertise with AWS, event-driven architectures, and enterprise iPaaS platforms such as Zapier and n8n.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation, API contract design with REST or GraphQL, release automation, and unit/integration testing standards.
- Experience with platform reliability, central logging, operational observability, error recovery, and self-service governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success building internal platform tools, self-service capabilities, or paved paths for enterprise engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities, including LLM features, agentic primitives, or intelligent cloud-automation functionality.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor while maintaining safety and quality guardrails.
