Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Elevate developer productivity by creating abstractions, tools, and common patterns.
- Design, develop, and optimize secure, reliable, and scalable platform systems.
- Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks across the technology stack.
- Champion security and reliability and protect sensitive data.
- Improve system resilience and efficiency as the product grows.
- Collaborate across teams to establish and implement engineering best practices.
- Own projects from ideation through deployment.
- Enhance and expand platform services for future Assured products.
Requirements
- 8+ years of platform or backend engineering experience, or equivalent expertise.
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript and experience with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Ability to lead projects independently from architecture through production.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across teams.
- Track record of building secure, reliable, and high-performance platforms.
- Ability to make strategic technical tradeoffs with company-wide implications.
