Responsibilities
- Design, build, ship, and enhance Android features in a large production application.
- Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
- Review code, provide developer feedback, and write technical documentation to improve coding practices and code quality.
- Lead development initiatives involving new technologies, practices, code quality, or architecture.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on technology, design, and product direction.
- Triage product and application issues and respond quickly to customer problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
- Strong understanding of the full application development lifecycle and Android SDK components, operating system lifecycle, performance optimization, Gradle builds, and modules.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android concurrency, and coroutines.
- Ability to make architectural decisions based on data and requirements, with working knowledge of MVVM and multi-tier architecture.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Play Store publishing, data structures and algorithms, and AI/LLM development tools.
- Preferred: experience with Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp/Retrofit, Espresso/kakao, and automated unit, integration, and UI test suites.
- Familiarity with mobile accessibility, OAuth, mobile authentication, data safety, Material Design, mobile UX, and mobile design patterns.
