Responsibilities
- Build new item catalog features within the SumUp SuperApp.
- Improve the application architecture and contribute to the Kotlin Multiplatform strategy.
- Enhance and maintain the unified Android app distributed across more than 60 countries.
- Identify product improvement opportunities and contribute to daily product and engineering decisions.
- Write documentation and implement robust testing before features ship.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and Android engineers to deliver a unified cross-platform user experience.
- Coach and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of mobile engineering experience with Android and Kotlin.
- 2+ years of experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns such as MVVM and MVI.
- Expertise building modular, scalable application architectures.
- Good knowledge of reactive programming, including Flow, Coroutines, and Concurrency.
- Strong understanding of testing best practices and resilient test development.
- Interest in multiplatform development using Kotlin Multiplatform.
