Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for production and non-production environments.
- Develop and own infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Operate and support Kubernetes workloads on EKS, including deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Create automation scripts and tools with Python, Go, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Improve monitoring and alerting for AWS and Kubernetes using Prometheus and New Relic.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and drive operational improvements after incidents.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong AWS experience with EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Route 53, and VPC networking.
- Strong Terraform experience and knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or an equivalent CI/CD system.
- Solid Linux skills; Windows experience is a plus.
- Ability to write and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of SDLC and microservices deployment patterns.
- Nice-to-have experience with AWS CDK, TypeScript, CloudFormation, Lambda, OpenSearch, Redis, AMQ, MySQL, FSx, AWS networking and security, Active Directory, DNS, and domain fundamentals.
