Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop and review comprehensive test plans and test strategies for Android device features and releases.
- Lead end-to-end QA and testing efforts for monthly LifeGuard and EMC product releases.
- Design and maintain testing strategies covering functional, performance, interoperability, benchmarking, and end-to-end solution testing.
- Drive adoption of AI and generative AI tools for test case and test strategy generation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and program managers to integrate testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Champion continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Android OS testing.
- Strong experience with Android testing, Python, Robot Framework, and Appium.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with end-to-end solution testing, interoperability testing, benchmarking, and performance testing.
- Experience with generative AI tools for test development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across business units.
