Base Salary
$84k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot support issues for a proprietary case management system.
- Write readable code that follows established standards and practices.
- Contribute to technical designs and design meetings.
- Develop and update coding standards and practices.
- Research findings and apply them to assigned code.
- Evaluate, assess, and correct bugs with minimal to no oversight.
- Troubleshoot previously assigned and non-complex reported issues.
- Perform complex coding and debugging of applications.
- Write instructions, manuals, and end-user documentation when needed.
- Participate in code reviews and pull requests across teams.
- Carry out or coordinate programming projects and contribute to team objectives.
- May mentor other developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience in a business environment, including web development, web applications, and web services.
- Proficiency with programming languages and tools appropriate to the team’s projects.
- Understanding of object-oriented design concepts and development patterns.
- Experience creating and reviewing technical designs for large and complex features.
- Experience conducting code reviews for performance, standards, and quality.
- Ability to plan, manage, and track independent work.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, logical-processing, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with case management systems, financial management systems, and/or governmental database management systems is highly desirable.
