Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technology solution delivery for commercial lending products spanning loan origination, loan servicing, and loan delivery.
- Advise leadership on complex solution designs and translate business and technology objectives into scalable engineering solutions.
- Perform hands-on design and coding for highly complex enterprise challenges.
- Make architecture decisions, provide architecture guidance, conduct code reviews, and guide development teams in day-to-day delivery.
- Shape technical strategies, roadmaps, product functionality, feature priorities, and dependencies with architecture, platform, product, and technology leadership teams.
- Direct scrum teams and collaborate with product and program leadership to align implementation with business goals and timelines.
- Conduct proof of concepts, evaluate new technologies, and enable innovation through technical leadership.
- Improve platform stability, performance, and operational efficiency by addressing technical debt and applying AI, automation, and data engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX.
- At least 2 years of AI technology implementation experience and at least 2 years working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kafka, event-driven architecture, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Ansible, shell scripting, F5, AVI, and infrastructure automation.
- Preferred experience deploying applications on Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere and applying MVC architecture, J2EE design patterns, and enterprise application design.
- Preferred experience implementing secure, scalable, highly available solutions and contributing to cloud-native modernization, migration, data engineering, analytics, AI-driven automation, or intelligent workflow initiatives.
- Financial services or large-scale enterprise technology experience is preferred.
