
Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

- Lead end-to-end technology solution delivery for commercial lending products and services.
- Design and code solutions for complex enterprise challenges while providing architecture guidance and technical direction.
- Advise leadership on solution design, technology strategy, roadmaps, and innovative business solutions.
- Lead architecture decisions, code reviews, proofs of concept, scrum team direction, and day-to-day delivery guidance.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, platform, program, and technology leadership teams to align implementation with business goals and timelines.
- Drive platform stability, performance, technical debt reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Leverage AI, automation, and data engineering capabilities to improve business outcomes.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least five years of experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- At least five years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX.
- At least two years of AI technology implementation experience.
- At least two years of experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and technical decision-making skills.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kafka, event-driven architecture, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Ansible, shell scripting, F5, AVI, infrastructure automation, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, enterprise application design, cloud modernization, data engineering, analytics platforms, and AI-driven workflow implementations.
