Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to understand business processes, technology landscapes, and strategic priorities.
- Lead discovery, ideation, design, and technical workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, structure, and prioritize AI, agent, automation, and workflow opportunities.
- Develop use cases, solution hypotheses, technical requirements, estimates, roadmaps, and recommendations.
- Architect, build, rapidly iterate, demonstrate, evaluate, and transition AI agents and prototypes into production delivery.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, APIs, and workflows using Microsoft and Azure services.
- Apply engineering practices for source control, testing, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, security, and operational readiness.
- Establish AI governance, delivery structures, operating models, and responsible experimentation practices.
- Educate, coach, and enable client stakeholders and delivery teams on agentic AI capabilities and engineering practices.
- Support pre-sales through discovery, solution shaping, estimation, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept development.
- Contribute reusable assets, patterns, accelerators, and lessons learned to Avanade’s Data & AI communities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, industry specialists, and alliance teams, and mentor colleagues.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience architecting and delivering AI-powered solutions with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.
- Strong experience building agents and conversational or workflow-based solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and enterprise integration and automation capabilities.
- Ability to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and turn ambiguous problems into working technical solutions.
- Strong software engineering and rapid prototyping skills with the ability to architect and build independently.
- Experience leading client workshops, technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and stakeholder playback sessions.
- Ability to prioritize use-case backlogs and develop estimates and pragmatic delivery roadmaps.
- Understanding of agentic AI, LLM solution patterns, prompt engineering, evaluation, grounding, and responsible AI controls.
- Experience integrating solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, APIs, and workflows.
- Strong client-facing communication skills across business and technical audiences.
- Experience in consulting, professional services, customer engineering, or a similar client-facing technology role.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, AI Search, and application hosting services.
- Knowledge of cloud-native engineering, observability, production support, AI governance, operating models, Centres of Excellence, reusable frameworks, and solution patterns.
- Microsoft Frontier Transformation Engineer badge or equivalent recognized credential is preferred.
- Completion of Microsoft High Velocity Engineering training or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Microsoft certifications in AI, Azure, or Power Platform are desirable.
