Responsibilities
- Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using C#, RESTful APIs, and Entity Framework.
- Participate in product architecture, code reviews, and development of core product functionality.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver quality work within established timelines and provide accurate effort estimates.
- Improve coding standards, development processes, and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and performance issues.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for application packaging, deployment, and scaling.
- Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to other developers.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience, including scalable RESTful APIs and extensive Entity Framework or EF Core work.
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience with demonstrated technical success.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server; PostgreSQL or other relational database experience is preferred.
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, secure coding, and software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT for AI-assisted development.
- Proficiency with Git and modern branching and version-control strategies.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
