Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, design, operationalize, and support technical solutions aligned with engineering and architectural principles.
- Apply expertise in engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, systems, networks, and bank standards.
- Build solutions with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
- Solve complex problems and take new perspectives on existing solutions.
- Communicate project and issue status to the team and share information and knowledge.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to less experienced team members when needed.
- Support TD’s customer service strategy and improve internal partner, vendor, and customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic background.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the applicable engineering discipline, frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, and procedures.
- Primary technical skills in Spring Boot, Java, Python, OAuth2, REST APIs, Kafka, Azure or GCP or AWS, Datadog, GitHub Actions, and Autosys.
- Core banking, ledger, payments, or other banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and serve as a subject matter resource for less experienced colleagues.

- Base salary range of CAD $105,100.00–$129,000.00 plus eligibility for discretionary variable compensation.
