Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, design, operationalize, and support technical solutions aligned with engineering and architectural principles.
- Plan, evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions focused on efficiency, reliability, scalability, security, and compliance.
- Solve complex problems and apply new perspectives to existing technical solutions.
- Communicate project and issue status with the team and contribute to continuous improvements in partner and customer experiences.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to less-experienced team members when needed.
- Share technical information and knowledge while learning from other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic background.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with relevant engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, procedures, and organizational standards.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Java, Python, OAuth2, REST APIs, Kafka, Azure or GCP or AWS, Datadog, GitHub Actions, and Autosys.
- Core banking, ledger, payments, or other banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and act as a subject-matter resource for less-experienced colleagues.
