Responsibilities
- Define the Salesforce platform’s technical vision and translate it into an executable, sequenced engineering plan.
- Own the platform’s security posture, including access controls, Connected Apps governance, vulnerability remediation, and security tooling decisions.
- Lead CI/CD automation and release-engineering modernization across major release cycles.
- Own data governance capabilities including GDPR deletion, retention, archival, and compliant data-handling standards.
- Improve platform observability, manage org limits, and reduce production risk and customer-facing incidents.
- Maintain and expand the D360 pipeline and its integration with the broader platform.
- Set direction for AI operations, including agent registry, observability, evaluation baselines, and Agentforce alignment.
- Coach engineers, contribute to engineering standards, and enable delivery teams across multiple disciplines.
Requirements
- Technical leadership experience delivering and operating Salesforce solutions at enterprise scale with a platform-engineering mindset.
- Deep Salesforce development knowledge and willingness to remain hands-on while planning and delegating execution.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, SFDX, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release-engineering modernization.
- Ability to make code and design decisions across multiple teams and lead application and platform architecture discussions.
- Expertise in distributed-systems architecture and experience scaling and hardening platforms used by many teams.
- Proven experience owning security posture and exposure to AI and agent platforms such as Agentforce.
- Understanding of AI operations concepts including observability and evaluation, with the ability to establish direction in a greenfield area.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, servant-leadership, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
