Base Salary
$85k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud, distributed computing, storage, AI/ML, GPU, and HPC infrastructure.
- Collaborate with customer and internal technical teams to support machine learning model training, testing, and production deployment.
- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and deployment issues for proof-of-concept and production workloads.
- Ensure encryption, access control, vulnerability management, security, and compliance standards across the infrastructure stack.
- Advise customers on Oracle Cloud, advanced GPU solutions, workload migration, and cloud architecture best practices.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting practices.
- Coordinate moderately complex initiatives, provide technical oversight, mentor junior team members, and contribute to hiring decisions.
Requirements
- Experience with scripting and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed-system orchestration tools such as Slurm and PBS.
- Strong Linux administration experience with Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian, including package management, shell scripting, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and infrastructure best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala.
- Preferred experience designing and managing infrastructure for AI/ML or HPC workloads and strong experience with high-performance computing and GPU systems.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Prometheus is preferred.
