Base Salary

$130k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own solution design, engineering standards, architecture, and complex implementation decisions for the GPS Salesforce platform.
  • Lead Salesforce development using Apex, Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, and other declarative tools.
  • Design Salesforce data models, sharing rules, roles, permission sets, field-level security, and other platform security controls.
  • Build event-driven and API-based integrations using REST, SOAP, Bulk, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
  • Lead ETL, data migration, and high-volume data-processing initiatives while maintaining data quality and compliance.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and governor-limit usage for mission-critical enterprise workflows.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and source-driven development using GitHub Actions and Git-based practices.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and enforce engineering standards across teams.
  • Ensure solutions comply with healthcare and insurance regulations, including HIPAA, and enterprise security standards.
  • Build and configure Salesforce AI agents, intelligent workflows, and automated experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional software development engineering experience with hands-on Salesforce development.
  • At least 1 year of Salesforce Lightning Web Components development experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Apex, Core Java, and JavaScript.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Force.com IDE, Apex Data Loader, and ANT; AutoRABIT experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience building AI agents with Agentforce.
  • At least 4 years delivering complex enterprise Salesforce implementations, integrations, and platform customizations.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in Agile environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience is also accepted.
  • Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Platform Administrator I, or Application Architect certifications.
  • Preferred experience includes healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, legacy Salesforce modernization, MuleSoft or other middleware and ETL tools, GitHub, RTC, automation tools, Salesforce AI, and IVR technologies such as AYAYA, Cisco, and chatbots.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum tools such as RTC, Rally, or Jira is preferred.
