Base Salary

$128k - $191k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance Guidewire ClaimCenter workflows, rules, and integrations for claims operations.
  • Build Java APIs and distributed backend services for high-volume claims transactions.
  • Architect and implement reliable, secure, performant, and cost-effective AWS cloud services.
  • Own end-to-end delivery across design, development, testing, release, and production support.
  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD, code-quality gates, observability, and engineering standards.
  • Lead incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
  • Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, coding standards, and delivery best practices.
  • Partner with business, claims, operations, product, and support stakeholders to translate workflows into deployable capabilities.
  • Run discovery workshops, define MVP scope, prototype solutions, validate them with end users, and productionize successful patterns.
  • Support critical releases, create implementation playbooks, establish outcome metrics, and improve adoption across claims teams.
  • Build practical agents with Google ADK for document understanding, claims decision support, and workflow orchestration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on Guidewire Cloud experience, preferably with ClaimCenter implementations.
  • Guidewire ClaimsCenter certification is required.
  • Strong hands-on Java experience building APIs, integrations, and distributed services.
  • Strong AWS and/or GCP engineering experience delivering production cloud solutions.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, asynchronous messaging, and secure REST integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, observability, logging, and production operations support.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Google ADK agent development, LLM integration into governed business processes, and cross-functional delivery leadership.
