$188k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and customer requirements, classify gaps, identify risks, and contribute to user stories and solution designs.
- Create detailed designs and minimalistic code for software components while addressing maintainability, availability, scalability, security, and technical requirements.
- Build automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for repetitive development and testing activities.
- Create and execute test cases and strategies for front-end, backend, API, microservices, regression, sanity, and other testing needs.
- Track, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, including regression testing and analysis of recurring issues.
- Monitor application performance and availability using logs, telemetry, metrics, and Grafana.
- Perform application maintenance, re-engineering, change-request evaluation, and milestone tracking.
- Use Agile practices including daily stand-ups and sprint planning to support delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a listed computing, engineering, information technology, or related field plus three years of software engineering experience, or a master's degree or equivalent plus one year of experience.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and C#.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, Nightwatch JS, Eggplant, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Experience using Confluence and TestRail for requirements, test cases, and test strategy.
- Experience building automated regression and sanity test suites and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience architecting automated API and microservices test suites using Python and Pytest, with Postman for functional validation.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for version history, code reviews, and team integration.
- Experience with defect tracking, application monitoring, debugging, log analysis, and Grafana-based performance tracking.
- Experience applying Agile principles and leading or participating in stand-ups and sprint planning.
