Base Salary

$188k - $234k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and customer requirements, classify gaps, identify risks, and contribute to user stories and solution designs.
  • Create detailed designs and minimalistic code for software components while addressing maintainability, availability, scalability, security, and technical requirements.
  • Build automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for repetitive development and testing activities.
  • Create and execute test cases and strategies for front-end, backend, API, microservices, regression, sanity, and other testing needs.
  • Track, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, including regression testing and analysis of recurring issues.
  • Monitor application performance and availability using logs, telemetry, metrics, and Grafana.
  • Perform application maintenance, re-engineering, change-request evaluation, and milestone tracking.
  • Use Agile practices including daily stand-ups and sprint planning to support delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a listed computing, engineering, information technology, or related field plus three years of software engineering experience, or a master's degree or equivalent plus one year of experience.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and C#.
  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, Nightwatch JS, Eggplant, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
  • Experience using Confluence and TestRail for requirements, test cases, and test strategy.
  • Experience building automated regression and sanity test suites and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience architecting automated API and microservices test suites using Python and Pytest, with Postman for functional validation.
  • Experience using Git and GitHub for version history, code reviews, and team integration.
  • Experience with defect tracking, application monitoring, debugging, log analysis, and Grafana-based performance tracking.
  • Experience applying Agile principles and leading or participating in stand-ups and sprint planning.
