Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with provider practices and insurance systems using APIs, web scrapers, and RPA tooling.
- Participate in client discovery sessions with founders to map workflows and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ship and iterate on custom integrations based on live feedback from practice clients.
- Contribute to the core product across the stack when integration work is not the bottleneck.
- Develop working knowledge of prior authorization, benefits verification, appeals, and the US provider and payer landscape.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production features.
- Startup experience with broad ownership across the stack and comfort working under ambiguity in small teams.
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs end-to-end from discovery through delivery.
- Proficiency with Python and FastAPI or equivalent backend frameworks, and React with TypeScript or equivalent frontend technologies.
- Active use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, with shipped production work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to attend in-person team or client meetings and travel occasionally.
- Preferred experience with web scrapers, RPA solutions, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure, production LLM or AI application development, or US healthcare and provider/payer systems.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $230,000 USD annually.
- Hybrid work arrangement based in New York City, with in-person team and client meetings expected.
- Some travel is required.
