Responsibilities
- Design and build high-concurrency, low-latency, resilient backend services.
- Develop distributed systems using event-driven and service-based architectures.
- Build Kafka-based real-time event-processing pipelines for voice, transcription, and workflow orchestration.
- Implement Redis for distributed caching, session state management, and fast data access.
- Design scalable MongoDB data models and optimize queries and performance.
- Build and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS, including compute, networking, secrets management, and messaging.
- Apply engineering practices for API design, resilience, monitoring, observability, incident troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with architecture, voice engineering, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver reliable platforms.
Requirements
- Proven expertise designing and delivering highly available distributed systems in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong backend engineering capability in Java and Spring Boot or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for streaming architectures and near-real-time event processing.
- Strong knowledge of Redis for caching, distributed coordination, and low-latency application design.
- Solid MongoDB experience, including document modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of AWS and cloud-native engineering principles, secure deployment, and operational scalability.
- Knowledge of resilience patterns, observability, incident troubleshooting, and production engineering best practices.
- Ability to contribute hands-on with minimal supervision and partner effectively with technical stakeholders.
