Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify application requirements.
- Automate deployment and configuration of cloud workloads in AWS.
- Develop and troubleshoot monitoring frameworks for cloud workloads.
- Assist engineering teams in architecting scalable cloud-native applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment and configuration issues.
- Manage the state and availability of various environments.
- Maintain and optimize shared development tools.
- Provide on-call support on weekends once a month.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, or Rancher.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation.
- Strong knowledge of Linux distributions like Ubuntu or CentOS.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Broad knowledge of AWS services, including CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, and EKS.
- Expert use of Git and GitHub in a distributed team.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.
