Responsibilities
- Plan and implement end-to-end test automation activities, including creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests.
- Extend existing automation frameworks and perform manual testing when required.
- Conduct load and performance testing.
- Contribute to project and release plans, defect and change management, systems integration, and testing processes.
- Gather testing requirements and coordinate between IT and business teams.
- Identify defects, deficiencies, procedural weaknesses, and risks arising from project changes.
- Support quality improvements through test planning, strategy, test-case creation, execution, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflow effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering and automation testing, with exposure to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity, Rest Assured, and comparable automation framework or CI/CD solutions.
- Proficient Java coding skills; knowledge of design patterns, Spring, and Spring Boot is preferred.
- Strong backend and API testing skills, including Postman.
- Ability to perform load and performance testing, including with JMeter.
- Strong skills in test planning, test strategy, test-case and test-script creation, and test execution.
- Experience with integration and regression testing and coordination with supporting systems.
- Ability to apply critical judgment when using AI tools and handling AI outputs.
