Responsibilities
- Build robust, secure, and scalable backend services for JioStar applications.
- Develop maintainable code, write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow engineering best practices.
- Design systems with sub-second response times using appropriate storage, indexing, and messaging technologies.
- Own the operation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate technologies and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver software aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns in functional and domain areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience building distributed domain-driven services.
- Strong understanding of database and storage fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, messaging systems such as Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Large-scale production systems experience with a focus on performance and reliability is preferred.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
