Responsibilities
- Drive frontend architecture for Roofr’s systems.
- Develop functional web applications and reusable libraries using clean code.
- Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from planning through delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop technical requirements.
- Write unit, functional, and acceptance tests and build frontend testing automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and support production applications.
- Recommend initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title.
- At least five years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, React, and Redux.
- Experience with SCSS and interacting with RESTful APIs.
- Experience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
- Ability to break down complex problems into incremental solutions and take ownership of product quality.
- Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in an early-stage company with changing priorities and frequent delivery.
