Responsibilities
- Build data platforms, APIs, MCPs, and tools that help AI agents map concepts to warehouse entities.
- Improve semantic layers for metric definitions, lineage, ownership, and reliability.
- Build ingestion and infrastructure for timely analytics and experimentation while evaluating freshness, accuracy, reliability, and cost.
- Develop tools for query drafting, root cause analysis, and visualizations.
- Own architecture, implementation, production rollout, and adoption.
- Lead complex technical projects, make cross-team design decisions, resolve dependencies, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating a data platform.
- Track record of leading complex technical projects across teams as an individual contributor.
- Strong software engineering skills with deep data expertise.
- Clear technical communication and ability to build alignment with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product partners.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar.
- Preferred experience with AI-agent infrastructure; semantic layers, metrics platforms, data catalogs, or lineage; SQL and Python data pipelines; APIs, SDKs, or self-service platforms; and AI development tools.
