Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable cloud-native software solutions.
- Shape architecture and technical direction across AWS and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Develop software and automation and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into the platform.
- Embed automated testing, observability, monitoring, secure-by-design practices, and operational excellence.
- Improve delivery through infrastructure as code, continuous integration and deployment, GitOps, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Strengthen operational resilience, reliability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical outcomes, architecture, and engineering standards across teams.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in Python, Java, or .NET, including sound design, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and operating solutions on AWS and Kubernetes, ideally including Amazon EKS.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, machine learning integration patterns, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic AI.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Argo CD, Helm, and infrastructure as code such as CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, security, identity and access management, encryption, and operational support.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, influence architecture, and improve engineering standards across teams.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB is well regarded.
