Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate modern cloud infrastructures using Terraform and configuration-management tools.
- Create scalable Infrastructure-as-Code architectures and establish operational best practices.
- Develop, optimize, and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement deployment strategies and ensure platform scalability, high availability, and security.
- Establish monitoring and observability solutions with Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Implement security and compliance requirements, including IAM, certificate management, and vulnerability management.
- Advise customers on multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies and support their DevOps transformation.
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Very strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code skills, including modular architectures.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern automation processes.
- Strong experience operating and administering Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Very strong knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python or Go.
- Experience with OpenShift or Rancher is advantageous.
- Fluent German at C1 level and fluent English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customers.
