Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the Android application and deliver features for healthcare professionals.
- Own the health of approximately 70 Kotlin Multiplatform CI/CD jobs from linting through end-to-end tests and store releases.
- Triage broken builds, debug the application and pipeline, and unblock more than 40 engineers.
- Define CI health SLOs, optimize job structure and gating, and reduce the P95 pipeline duration.
- Create dashboards, quarantine flaky tests, and establish ownership for failing tests.
- Document investigations, solutions, and existing systems to improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- Several years of experience building and shipping Android applications with Kotlin and Compose.
- Deep Gradle knowledge, including multi-module builds, build caching, task avoidance, and configuration avoidance.
- Previous ownership of CI/CD setups, preferably using GitLab CI, including runners, caches, artifacts, and change-based job gating.
- Experience with emulators, macOS/iOS build agents, Appium, end-to-end test flakiness, and memory-intensive Kotlin compilation jobs.
- Fluent English at C1 level; German is a plus but not required.
- Kotlin Multiplatform and/or iOS experience is a plus.
