Responsibilities
- Lead technical objectives and provide hands-on development for complex data pipelines, AI/ML systems, and software solutions.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient data pipelines and software architectures.
- Collaborate across teams with researchers, portfolio managers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews, make architectural decisions, and maintain high-quality production platforms and tooling.

Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a top-tier institution.
- 7+ years of experience as a Python developer with a strong focus on data engineering and AI/ML systems.
- Expert knowledge of Python and its ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and efficient data pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise with Git, CI/CD practices, and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering collaboration.
- Finance-industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, LLMs, agents, or systems of agents is a significant plus.
