Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects and features end to end, from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and maintain platform services primarily using Python while contributing to Angular or React front ends.
- Design schemas, optimize queries, and support data quality in relational databases.
- Own releases and deployments, including CI/CD pipelines, SDLC controls, and change management processes.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, bug fixes, performance improvements, observability, documentation, and continuous operational improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams on scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, debugging, performance tuning, and knowledge sharing.
- Use AI-assisted software development tools responsibly throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean maintainable code.
- Working knowledge of basic system design, including components, APIs, and data flows for reliable and scalable solutions.
- Track record of implementing features and owning delivery from design through production.
- Experience optimizing and refactoring code to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
- Understanding of appropriate AI use in the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work across backend, frontend, and database technologies as priorities evolve.
