Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects and features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and maintain primarily Python-based platform services while contributing to Angular and React front ends.
- Design and optimize relational databases, including schemas, query performance, and data quality.
- Own releases and deployments, including CI/CD pipelines, SDLC controls, and change management.
- Support production systems through incident management, root cause analysis, bug fixes, and continuous improvement.
- Improve application performance, maintainability, observability, documentation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams on scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Use AI-assisted software development tools responsibly throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience implementing features and owning them end to end through production.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean, maintainable code.
- Working knowledge of basic system design, including components, APIs, and data flows.
- Ability to optimize and refactor code to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
- Understanding of beneficial and appropriate AI use in the software development lifecycle.
- Comfort working across backend, frontend, and database technologies.
- Experience with Python, relational databases, version-control workflows, automated testing, and software delivery practices.
