Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and REST Assured.
- Implement self-healing locators and dynamic waits to reduce test flakiness and maintenance.
- Use Generative AI and LLM workflows to convert acceptance criteria into executable tests and generate compliant synthetic test data.
- Host framework assets on GitHub or Azure DevOps and maintain CI/CD pull-request validation pipelines.
- Synchronize automated test results with Jira Xray, Zephyr, and Azure DevOps ALM suites through RESTful APIs.
- Lead proof-of-concept evaluations for AI testing tools and create onboarding materials for adopting central test solutions.
- Support ServiceNow Service Catalog updates, change requests, and audit-ready CSV execution logs compliant with GxP standards.
- Contribute to testing strategies, identify test gaps, own defined test requirements, and facilitate stakeholder onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in Software Development in Test or Quality Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or TypeScript and Playwright, Selenium, or REST Assured.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding or AI-native testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Applitools Visual AI, Testim, Mabl, or KaneAI.
- Practical expertise with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure Pipelines.
- Understanding of ServiceNow ITSM, incident and change management, and CSV/GxP validation protocols.
- ISTQB qualification.
- Experience with TOSCA is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including facilitating meetings and managing expectations on small to medium engagements.
