Responsibilities
- Apply software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts.
- Identify environmental and test-data dependencies.
- Develop applications and unit test cases that comply with functional requirements.
- Design and execute functional, non-functional, integration, API, file-based, and data-intensive tests.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on development, testing, troubleshooting, and software-quality improvement.
- Support senior team members in implementing solutions using software delivery best practices.
- Maintain system documentation and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
- Align risk and control processes with day-to-day responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coordinate across teams, manage dependencies, and communicate quality status to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading end-to-end test planning and execution in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong experience in functional testing, automation testing, integration testing, and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table testing, pairwise testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with JIRA and ALM/AQM for traceability, test management, reporting, and issue tracking.
- Experience with Java or Python, or another programming or scripting language.
- Experience with automation and API testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Karate, or Rest Assured.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tooling such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with AI prompt engineering, AI agents, and productivity tooling for improving test design, coverage, and execution efficiency.
- Experience validating XML and CSV workflows involving schema validation, field mappings, transformations, and database verification.
- Experience in financial services, regulatory or reporting processes, onboarding flows, portal applications, or data-platform testing is preferred.
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams, managing dependencies, and communicating quality status to stakeholders and leadership is preferred.
