Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Design and execute functional, non-functional, integration, API, exploratory, and data-intensive tests.
- Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts.
- Develop applications and unit tests that comply with functional requirements.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
- Validate file-based workflows involving XML, CSV, schema validation, field mappings, transformations, and database verification.
- Manage test environments, data dependencies, defect lifecycles, system documentation, and quality reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on requirements, development, testing, troubleshooting, and software quality improvement.
- Apply risk and control processes and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support senior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of software delivery practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading end-to-end test planning and execution in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong experience with functional testing, automation testing, integration testing, and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on knowledge of equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table testing, pairwise testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with JIRA and ALM/AQM for requirements traceability, test management, reporting, and issue tracking.
- Experience with Java or Python, or another programming/scripting language.
- Experience with automation and API testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Karate, or Rest Assured.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tooling such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with AI prompt engineering, AI agents, and productivity tooling for test design, coverage, and execution efficiency.
- Experience testing XML, CSV, schema validation, field mappings, transformations, and database verification.
- Financial services, regulatory/reporting processes, onboarding flows, portal-based applications, or data-platform testing experience is preferred.
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams, managing dependencies, and communicating quality status to stakeholders and leadership is preferred.
