Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and independently lead scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Define and evolve standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud deployments and architectures.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and error budgets to maintain system performance and health.
- Evaluate technologies, sourcing options, and architecture proposals in alignment with SRE objectives.
- Analyze resource utilization and implement cost-optimization and FinOps initiatives.
- Mentor and support team members by sharing technical best practices.
- Identify process and tooling gaps and propose concrete platform-efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business and operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or related technical fields.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Ansible.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment strategies for complex systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, RBAC, security best practices, and cloud architectures.
- Proficiency with observability tools such as ELK and Azure Monitor, or equivalent tools, and operational excellence practices.
- Proven experience implementing containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
- Ability to make autonomous technical decisions while balancing technical debt and deliverable quality.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, .NET, or equivalent technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills are preferred, in both French and English.
