Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test execution processes, and test automation for software products.
- Own the automation strategy and tools used to enhance the test automation framework.
- Perform functional, regression, and scale testing, including file system, protocol, and data path testing.
- Use Python for test automation and troubleshoot complex system and software issues.
- Apply knowledge of AI-based software development life cycles, AI workflows, and AI tools.
- Collaborate across geographically distributed, cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 8+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, system engineering, and automation.
- Proficiency in Python and knowledge of storage domains including block, file, and object storage.
- Knowledge of file systems, protocols, data path testing, and networking concepts.
- Experience or knowledge with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and Linux or virtual machine environments.
- Knowledge of AI workflows and AI tools is required; hands-on AI-based SDLC experience is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and hands-on participation in Scrum.
