Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate backend services that are fast and fault-tolerant.
- Define service boundaries, data models, and contracts for team independence.
- Establish performance baselines and SLOs, designing for durability.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers on code quality and testing.
- Own critical systems including queue orchestration and caching.
Requirements
- Expert in Node/Typescript services; production Go experience is a bonus.
- Deep understanding of memory management and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Temporal or equivalent durable workflows and Redis.
- Comfortable operating in modern cloud environments with observability habits.
- Familiarity with LLM integrations is a plus.
