Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with customers to understand their processes, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Design, develop, and iterate on MVPs of conversational agents using AI technologies and validate hypotheses with customers in short cycles.
- Build maintainable and scalable software on a common platform supporting multiple conversational solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other Product Engineers to define technical and functional strategies.
- Make technical decisions balancing speed of execution, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture design, and continuous improvement of the team’s engineering practices.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer actively designing, developing, and deploying software products.
- Experience building high-scale B2B or B2C products or platforms used by high volumes of users or transactions.
- Experience defining features and/or working closely with Product teams in agile contexts.
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable solutions and making technical decisions involving speed, maintainability, and scalability trade-offs.
- Excellent communication skills for working with both technical stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous contexts, prioritize autonomously, and turn open-ended problems into concrete solutions.
- Motivation to build AI-powered products.
- Preferred: experience with LLM-based products, conversational agents, or AI systems.
- Preferred: experience building products from the early 0-to-1 stage, conducting customer discovery, or participating in product conversations.
- Preferred: experience at high-growth startups or technology companies with large-scale products.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems, APIs, cloud architectures, or highly available platforms.
- Preferred: experience working with agile methodologies and multidisciplinary teams.
