Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product capabilities from prototype through production and scale.
- Design and implement agentic systems involving model interactions, tool use, retrieval, orchestration, state management, evaluations, observability, and guardrails.
- Use coding agents and AI development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle while creating tests, specifications, development environments, CI pipelines, and evaluation systems.
- Translate ambiguous product opportunities into technical approaches, architecture decisions, and executable plans.
- Own product and production outcomes including reliability, observability, security, performance, maintainability, adoption, and customer results.
- Provide technical reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to shared architecture, tools, standards, and operating practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software.
- At least 3 years of full-stack experience spanning frontend and backend systems.
- At least 3 years of software engineering fundamentals including system design, data modeling, APIs, testing, cloud-native development, security, observability, and production operations.
- At least 1 year of substantive hands-on AI-native engineering experience, such as work with LLM APIs, coding agents, agent frameworks, tool integrations, retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, or production guardrails.
- At least 1 year of experience building reliable AI or agentic systems beyond prototype or demonstration environments and taking products or major capabilities from zero to one through production.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an associate degree requires at least 6 years of work experience, and equivalent experience may qualify.
- Strong judgment under ambiguity, product instincts, communication skills, technical decision-making ability, and demonstrated ability to use AI development tools without lowering quality.
- Genuine interest in frontier AI and a habit of testing new models, tools, and engineering approaches.
