Responsibilities

Collaborate with Data Science and Research teams to develop innovative algorithms.
Partner with WHOOP Labs to plan data collections and assess algorithm readiness.
Validate wearable technology in clinical settings and analyze biomedical data.
Monitor algorithm performance and address data quality issues.
Contribute to research efforts and explore new product features.
Establish standards for data analysis and reporting.
Participate in software development and validation processes.
Utilize signal processing expertise to optimize biosensor systems.
Create and implement mathematical models and machine learning algorithms.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applied mathematics, statistics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in signal processing and/or machine learning.
Ability to work with time-series data and familiarity with signal processing concepts.
Exposure to wearable biosignals and real-world noise.
Experience developing back-end tools for data processing and analysis.
Proficiency in C and/or Python programming languages.
Solid grounding in statistical inference and ability to articulate trade-offs.
Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow.
Strong communication skills and ability to produce high-quality reports.
Experience with version control systems and cloud computing platforms.
Experience querying data in modern data warehouses.
