Base Salary
$86k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and update release notes, end-user, administrator, and developer documentation.
- Build customer empathy and improve documentation based on feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Perform content analysis and develop documentation plans for new features.
- Promote best practices for technical communications and AI workflow enhancements.
- Partner with the training team to promote content reuse and efficient learning plans.
- Create, review, and deliver content using a content management system.
- Assist with documentation translation workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing or a related discipline.
- Ability to apply AI tools to accelerate technical content production.
- Experience writing for diverse audiences, including non-technical users.
- Proven experience producing user documentation such as installation and configuration guides.
- Familiarity with both hardware and software products is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of style guides and industry practices.
- Experience with HTML and markdown editors.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like MadCap Flare, Atlassian JIRA, and Adobe InDesign.
