Responsibilities
- Build a data science platform covering VM provisioning, dataset access, feature storage, and model registry capabilities.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, monitoring practices, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Provide AWS technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
- Maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
- Stay current with cloud technology trends and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Be fluent in Python and comfortable with infrastructure-as-code.
- Have knowledge of cloud computing and at least one major provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and customer-success skills.
- Have a good general knowledge of computer science.
- Be fluent in both English and French.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform, is preferred.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively is preferred.
