Responsibilities

  • Build a data science platform covering VM provisioning, dataset access, feature storage, and model registry capabilities.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, monitoring practices, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Provide AWS technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
  • Maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
  • Stay current with cloud technology trends and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • Be fluent in Python and comfortable with infrastructure-as-code.
  • Have knowledge of cloud computing and at least one major provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and customer-success skills.
  • Have a good general knowledge of computer science.
  • Be fluent in both English and French.
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform, is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively is preferred.
