Responsibilities
- Build scalable, resilient, and secure microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS using managed services and event-driven architectures.
- Translate business and technical requirements into AWS solutions following AWS best practices.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services with emphasis on performance, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release strategies for continuous delivery.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js and Java with Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, and EC2.
- Design APIs, integrate systems, and support event-driven architectures using Kafka and MQ.
- Contribute to cloud migration, re-platforming, and monolith-to-microservices modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, product teams, and global engagement teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring of junior developers.
- Apply security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, reliability, scalability, and cloud cost-optimization practices.
- Use Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on cloud-native development.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with expertise in Node.js and Java with Spring Boot.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade AWS solutions.
- Hands-on experience with modern software development lifecycle, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AWS compute, storage, databases, networking, security, integration, messaging, and infrastructure-as-code services.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployments, performance tuning, reliability initiatives, and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, ownership, collaboration, and continuous-learning abilities.
