Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale internal tools that support and streamline production facilities.
- Develop robust systems in Rust to improve manufacturing efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and production teams to deliver tooling.
- Identify opportunities to create tools and improve infrastructure for cross-team efficiency.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and take systems from concept through shipping.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in Rust or a strong systems programming background with willingness to work primarily in Rust.
- Experience building internal tooling or production support systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with hardware engineers and production teams.
- Maturity, ownership, pride in work, and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Motivation to support teammates, learn outside one’s comfort zone, and take ownership across a broad range of systems.
