Responsibilities
- Build and own the infrastructure for validating autonomous features and system performance.
- Design and develop simulation tools for large-scale testing of autonomy under real-world conditions.
- Create scalable solutions for running and analyzing validation tasks across the autonomy organization.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers to evaluate system behavior and connect real-world results to test tools.
- Establish best practices for software release validation to ensure safety and readiness.
- Define validation methodologies and metrics for evaluating new autonomy features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software systems for simulation, testing, or safety validation.
- Proficiency in C++, Rust, or C, with Python as a plus.
- Hands-on experience with simulation systems for robotics or autonomous systems.
- Experience building tools or platforms used by other engineers.
- Understanding of validation methodologies and metrics for complex systems.
