Responsibilities
- Identify root causes of build failures and develop resilient, sustainable solutions.
- Provide development and project teams with daily updates on software version status.
- Promote DevOps best practices among internal clients.
- Collaborate with the application platform team to improve build and validation tools.
- Identify and resolve logistical and hardware issues related to workload distribution across the hardware fleet.
- Implement new pipelines and contribute to development-platform improvements.
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, and IT teams on projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience as a software developer.
- Understanding and practical application of industry DevOps best practices.
- Experience improving and debugging C++ and C# application builds across multiple versions.
- Strong knowledge of Git repository and branch management.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and package managers.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, and SQL environments.
- Understanding of typical developer workflows.
- Knowledge of observability and diagnostic tools such as Dynatrace or equivalent.
- Leadership, initiative, methodical problem-solving, efficiency, self-direction, continuous-improvement orientation, and strong communication skills.
